To send files to our tax team, please utilize Morling & Company's ShareFile™ file hosting service. ShareFile™ is similar to well-known cloud based file hosting utilities such as Dropbox™, Google Drive™, OneDrive™, and iCloud™. If you need access to ShareFile™, please request a link from your tax team. Do not send documents containing sensitive data through email.
To prioritize the security of our clients' data, Morling & Company does not access third-party file shares, as those mentioned above. Rest assured that using ShareFile™ ensures a safe and protected environment for file sharing with our team.
Please note, Morling & Company observes a data submission deadline, commonly the third Friday in March. This deadline ensures that our tax teams have sufficient time to process and finalize tax returns for clients who have provided complete data sets. If you are unable to meet this deadline, rest assured that Morling & Company will arrange an extension for you. For further information, please consult with your tax professional.
Files in Apple™ format, including but not limited to HEIF image files (common on iPhone and iPad), are not acceptable file formats. If Apple™ format files are the only option, please be aware that there will be a charge to convert them to Windows™ based file types. It is essential to note that Morling & Company cannot guarantee the accuracy of the converted Apple™ files to Windows™ files. To avoid any issues with inaccuracy or corrupt files, it is best to save files in Windows™ based file formats from the source application. |
